  • What is a child sleep coach?
    A child sleep coach is specialized in the sleeping behavior of babies and children and helps parents to help their children sleep better (again). Some children sleep very well since birth and other children need some help with this. Sometimes a few tips and tricks are enough for better sleep and sometimes a tailor-made plan is the best option.
  • What is the advantage of hiring a child sleep coach?
    You probably recognize it, you have tried everything, you receive well-intentioned advice from those around you, but nothing seems to work! In the meantime, you become increasingly frustrated and you sleep less. A sleep consultant supports you in this phase. We use an extensive intake form to map out the family situation and create a tailor-made plan. We look beyond just sleeping. We examine the rhythm, the daily routine, nutrition and the weekly schedule to achieve the best result: everyone is rested for the day! 95% of families have significantly better and more sleep after 2 weeks!
  • With what kind of sleep problems can you help us?
    We can help you with all types of sleep problems. Think of: waking up often at night, not being able to fall asleep without help, waking up very early, refusing to sleep during the day, etc. If you are in doubt, just give us a call.
  • Which methods do you work with?
    We have did an extensive training at the Family Sleep Institute (FSI) and work with various proven effective methods for children from 0 to 6 years old. We find a suitable solution for every family and every problem. Depending on the problem, the age of the child and the family situation, we will look at what suits you best. In this way, we work in a healthy and loving way to achieve more and better sleep for now and in the future.
  • How does sleep training work?
    We always start with a free short introductory call. Then we discuss the sleepproblem and see what is needed to help you. You will then receive a questionnaire that forms the basis for the intake. During the intake, we will discuss your child's sleep, family situation, rhythm, routine, etc. in detail. After the intake, you will receive a tailor-made sleep plan so that you are ready to start. In the two or three weeks after the start of the sleep program, depending on the package, you will receive feedback daily or several times a week for the best possible end result.
  • How long does it take before you see results?
    That varies enormously, sometimes after 2 days, sometimes it takes a little longer. Often the older the child, the longer it takes, because certain habits are ingrained for longer. But after the first week you can often see improvement!
  • How do I know which package suits me the best?
    We will discuss this during the introductory call.
  • What age is child sleep coaching for?
    From the age of 5 / 6 months till about 6 years. Do you have any sleep questions before? We also offer a newborn consultation. We will talk about your baby's sleep in detail and explain what you can do in those first months to create a good basis for healthy sleep.
  • Do I let my baby cry?
    No, we will never ask you to let your baby cry. We will help you decide which method best suits your wishes. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be no tears. For babies and children, this is an important way of communication.
  • I don't live nearby, can you still help me?
    Definetely! We usually work with video calling, so it doesn't matter where you live! We work with Dutch-speaking and English-speaking families, worldwide!
  • Do you have a waiting list?
    Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Usually you can start within one or two weeks.
